Biography
Victor was born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. He
received a BSc in Engineering Physics in 2000 from
Monterrey Tech (ITESM), Mexico. Then, in 2004 he
obtained an MSc in Optics from CICESE research
centre, Mexico, where he worked on the fabrication
of optical waveguides in glass by implantation of
copper ions. His PhD research involves the
fabrication and characterisation of transparent
polycrystalline YAG ceramics.
